Congrats to Max for being awarded the first Ray Roberts Award

Men's soccer player Max Naranjo recently received the Ray Roberts Award, for his on- and off-the-field involvement in the college’s soccer program. The Ray Roberts Award goes to a second-year Hill College student athlete, who throughout their tenure with the college, has consistently demonstrated a passion for the success of the college. They also have a personal commitment to the advancement and improvement of the college, a selfless effort to support and better their teammates and peers, a strong work ethic in both the classroom and athletic endeavors and a positive demeanor and excellent character.

Hill College soccer coach Paul Davenport said that Naranjo started every game for the last two years for the Rebels, leading the team on the greatest run in the program’s history.

Davenport said, “Max performed consistently all year, serving the program selflessly regardless of the task assigned to him. He never missed a single practice, study hall or team meeting.”
